I had a nice experience living here. The staff was friendly from the time I moved in until I moved out. The grounds crew ... where always curtious and friendly. Staff are always available to assist with any problem that arises and are prompt and professional. Parking is a challenge ... at times but not over the top. There is overflow parking next to the car wash & laundry facility. Maintenance is on top of all reports and are also prompt to respond. The paint on the walls could be upgraded to a type that can be cleaned easily. The flat paint does make it challenging to keep clean particularly in the kitchen area. "My apartment is very nice with high ceilings. I do wish we had access to the clubhouse, computers and coffee area after ... hours. I don't understand why the office area can't be locked and we can't come and enjoy a cup of coffee and sit to read a book or just relax and watch the tv in the evening. Also I would like to see anothe grill set up. One gas grill just isn't enough in the summer. The pool area is lovely It would also be nice if the outside fireplace was set up on a key card with a timer rather than having to sign out a remote for 24 hours to use it. All of these things that I have mentioned are available at The Aventine apartments up the street from us. "It is a the best choice from the 7 other apartments we looked at. Only 3 miles to the airport, Arboretum, entrance to the ... Blue Ridge Parkway. Near the highway, but far enough not to hear traffic. There were some problems with the grounds, and parking, but they worked on that to improve both. We are planning on staying here as long as we can. Lots of extras for active people like free use of mountain bikes, camping equipment, kayaks. The fitness room and pool, extra TVs and computers are available along with a nice room to reserve for special event you may have. Location could not be better - quiet area but still close to the interstate and Biltmore Park. Apartments are well-kept with great floor plans and modern conveniences. I would love to give a rating of all 5s but as others have noted, the parking is an issue. I am only there on weekends but if I don't arrive before 5 00 p.m. on Friday, I never get a parking place in front of my building. I know this is being addressed so hopefully it will improve. It would be great if at least one parking place could be assigned to each apartment to ensure a space was available. I enjoy living at Ansley at Roberts Lake. I came from another apartment complex that I did not enjoy and so it's refreshing ... enjoying where I stay. The only downside is the noise. I have had a horrible time getting the noise to lessen in the middle of the night from the people above me. I understand you will here things living in an apartment building but there's not excuse for the noise being unbearable in the middle of the night. Not much help from the leasing office after one email other then to call the sheriffs office. Otherwise, enjoyable place to live but for the price there is definitely better. I have to say that when we first came in for the tour, we were impressed and decided to move to the area partly because of ... this housing option. It s lost some luster due to the low quality material used in the apartment, but we do like the pool area. As a father, one of my major concerns is the waiting area for the school buses in the morning - or lack thereof. We have a choice of standing in wet, soggy grass with the sprinklers soaking us on some days, standing in the driveway during rush hour (!!), or standing next to the highway that is Clayton Rd with a 45 mph speed limit. With so many kids, it seems just a matter of time before an accident happens. I hope that Ansley addresses this soon because it s just going to get worse as winter nears! We absolutely love our apartment. The style and fixtures are all so beautiful and most neighbors seem extremely friendly. ... The pool and the gym is some of our favorite places to be. The only downfall is parking. It is beyond difficult for me to park next to the pool almost every night and walk with my baby in one arm and huge baby bag and sometimes groceries in the other. The apartments are very open and roomy. The kitchen space is large for an apartment and has lots of counters and storage, ... a very efficient use of space. The fans in each room keep our ground floor unit cool with very little use of AC. The workout facility is never crowded and has great equipment. All the staff in the office and the maintenance crew are efficient and genuinely friendly. They make you feel that they care and that you are part of a family.
