Great Staff and Location Honestly, one of the better apartment complexes to be apart of. Close to shopping areas, but not next to loud roads. Honestly, one of the better apartment complexes to be apart of. Close to shopping areas, but not next to loud roads. This complex is very new, clean, and is run like a well-oiled machine. Apartments Review are nice, they were cleaned and painted before I moved in. Maintenance requests are always addressed the next day. Valet trash is a great feature. The whole place is mostly families and older folks with a few younger couples. It is very quiet and peaceful. I moved in from out of town and the office was quick to respond, answered all of my questions, and was very reliable and helpful. The location is secluded while being a short drive to Biltmore Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. My only issue is with parking. You have to park in a specific zone (designated spaces around your building). If you park out of your zone, you get towed. My boyfriend whom also lives here got his car towed when his parking pass fell off his window and he had to pay the $250 fee which is total bull. There are very few visitor spots, all very far away from the buildings, and visitors often get towed. it is a huge nuissance and people who live in their complex should not be getting towed no matter what. Check license paltes before you tow or you are going to keep having disgruntled residents. If you can follow the rules, I would definitely recommend living here.

My husband & I lived there for 2 years while we built our home. During that time both Management & Maintenance were a pleasure to deal with. The complex was always kept tidy and clean. The amenities (pool, gym, coffee bar, dog park, walking trail, car wash station) were always kept clean and the grounds of the complex immaculate. I never used the laundry facilities as we had our own washer & dryer in our unit. The apartment complex is gated and is in a very convenient location just off I-26. Apartment living will always have issues but if you choose to live in an apartment, Ansley is a good choice ! Yes, there are rules. The rules exist to help maintain a nice environment and are reasonable. Follow them (pick up your dogs poop, park where you are supposed to) and you will not have any problems! Linda is a great Manager & she & her team are receptive and responsive!

Such a wonderful enviornment in which to live!

After retiring one year ago, I moved here and the experience has been and continues to be wonderful. Staff are very professional and listens to needs of the residents. Parking sometimes can be somewhat challenging, but I don't mind walking, when needed. It is a peaceful and quiet environment as well! I would recommend other potential residents to check Ashley at Roberts Lake out before making your final decision for a future relocation.

I lived at Ansley at Roberts Lake for a year and it was one of the best apartment experiences I have ever had. Below is my experience: Pros: The grounds were immaculate and someone would come around almost every day to pick up any trash or debris. The leasing office staff is very helpful and you can tell they care about their residents. The maintenance team was excellent and timely. I only had a few minor maintenance issues the whole time I was there, but they were handled right away. The Apartments Review are very well maintained. The community is very safe and secure. I never once felt uncomfortable walking my dog late at night. The community is very quiet during the evening which I appreciated. I lived right next to the playground and on the weekends I could hear kids playing, but only during the day. The pool area was wonderful. They are always adding fresh lounge chairs and umbrellas. The dog park was just big enough to get my dog's energy out and I never encountered an aggressive dog on the property at all. The location is perfect. It is just enough off the beaten path that you feel like you are out of the suburbs, but it is also very close to everything you need. Cons (While it's a short list there are a few): Parking is limited, but the new system in place worked very well. The only downside is if you worked 2nd shift like I did and got home late, you will have to park a few Apartments Review over from your own and walk. It really wasn't a big deal, but worth letting you know. I had one issue with my downstairs neighbor. The leasing office handled the matter very well, but they did not relay the information to the after hours guy who responds to neighbor issues (I don't know what they call him). When he was called one weekend, he did not have the prior history of the issue and he could have handled it better if he had known. The paint they use is impossible to clean. I tried multiple different methods and every time it would just take the paint right off. All in all I definitely recommend Ansley at Roberts Lake. You can't expect perfection from an apartment complex, but Ansley gets close!

Loving this place!

I recently moved from Florida and was not familiar with the Asheville area, at all, when we came to look at Ansley at Roberts Lake. Linda (the manager) did an excellent job at making our move easy and smooth as we planned our transition from Florida to North Carolina. This is the place to live.

Nobody that works here is complacent. They are hardworking caring individuals. The apartment is very well maintained. The quality of the materials used is first rate. I just love this place. The curb appeal is awesome. The staff keep the grounds clean and no overflow of trash. They clean the buildings and keep the dog poo picked up and the stations emptied. Just to drive in from work every day is a pleasure. It's so clean!!!

OMG What a great place to live

This place is gorgeous! There are so many amenities offered that other communities don't have. The ladies in the office are super nice and helpful. And if you have any issues that need fixing, well those guys are great too. I can't say enough good about them or the place. And the parking issue is genius. No other community has a setup like that. It's so organized and stress free.

My wife and I love living here! We have both lived in other apartments here in Asheville and this has been hands down our favorite home. Well this whole parking thing is rediculous! When I visit I always park away from the buildings because residents need to have a place to park. They definitely pay for it!! I just heard of someone s car with carseat & other baby needs inside being towed to West Asheville!! This car was parked at the dog park. The person was house sitting for a resident. No visitor parking was available at the time she parked her car. Now this person is strapped with a rediculous amount of a bill before she can get her car!!! Ansley should step up & do the right thing & get this car back to to the owner!!!

I m not sure where some of the reviewers are talking about with the negative comments but surely it s not Ansley! I have been renting a nice 2 bedroom apartment for 4 months now and have nothing but praise to share. Management responds quickly and professionally to any concerns I have. I feel safe here. So much so that I accidentally left my car windows down one night only to find it safe and sound the next morning. The property is always well groomed and the peacefulness I experience here was unexpected but a very nice surprise! Ansley is a great place to rent in Asheville. If you have a problem living here I would say you should rent or buy a private home cause this place is the next best option!

I have really enjoyed my time here at Ansley at Roberts Lake. I ve only spoken to Hannah and Persis in the main office and have had a great experience every single time. They both are very knowledgeable and friendly and respond to all of my emails promptly. The maintenance team is FANTASTIC - I put in a work order online a few weeks ago and greeted them at my door 10 minutes after submitting the order. Love, Love, Love

I have had a wonderful experience living at Ansley at Roberts Lake. I love the location close to South Asheville activities but quietly tucked away from the chaos. I love the staff from meeting Hannah while signing my lease, to being cheerfully greeted by the maintenance staff daily. I love the community a mix of young professionals to older retirees, many with pets. I love the amenities and the space modern yet comfortable. And the price is comparable to other new apartment complexes around Asheville. There is really nothing I would change about my home I have and will continue to recommend Ansley to my friends and co-workers

Peaceful Transition from Private Home to Apartment Living

I recently moved from a private home rental to Ansley at Roberts Lake in Arden, NC. I was concerned about not having privacy, noise pollution, maintenance, etc., but have been delightfully surprised that I have not experienced any issues with the transition. I love my one bedroom apartment The layout is perfect and the appliances are great I LOVE how big the porches are. you can really make them your own, although they were sloppily put in. There are nails in the cracks, that could fall on you neighbor below you, and the wood doesn't seem to be stained. I feel like you could very easily get a splinter, same way with the breeze ways. The parking is also terrible if you live in one of the apartment buildings towards the front, I knew this though when I moved in from reviews on google that parking may be a pain but I don't mind a walk... unless I have a million groceries. Overall these apartments are in a great location and really well designed and kept.

Pros: The location here cannot be beaten

Pros: The location here cannot be beaten, and the complex is neat and well cared for. Maintenance requests are generally taken care of within a day, and the maintenance staff is friendly. The neighbors are also friendly. The amenities, like the pool and clubhouse, free printing, etc. are really nice. The complex is quiet and safe. Challenges: The thin/cheap paint it alarmingly hard to clean or live with, especially considering the prime price we are paying for a luxury apartment. The 60-day notice required for ending or renewing a lease can leave you a bit trapped if you don t have a plan way in advance. Given the crazy rental prices in all of AVL, we are happy enough here and just renewed our lease.

We moved here in June

We moved here in June. Did not want to live in an apartment complex, but Asheville is very hard to find a house! We looked at several complexes and like Ansley so much more than anywhere else we looked! We have been very happy with everything here. We like the neighbors that we have met and the office staff is really really nice!! There are times we hear our upstairs neighbors but it s not bad, I am sure the people below us think the same! Overall, I would recommend Ansley to anyone!

If management says one more time that parking has improved

If management says one more time that parking has improved, I am going to scream. REALLY??? Then why am I still parking way down the street from my apartment every single night??? Do NOT tell us things are much better when we clearly see everyday that the situation has not improved. Clearly, management does not live in the buildings where parking is a problem. Or they wouldn t be saying this over and over again. Your first parking pass idea was a failure, so what did you do? You rolled out a second parking pass program just like the first one, and expected different results. Admit it: the complex was poorly designed with woefully inadequate parking space. The only way to fix this is to either limit residents to one spot each (which I doubt anyone is going to advocate), or to build more spots. If neither of these is feasible, then there s no fixing this mess. But regardless, do NOT tell us that the situation is better when it is NOT.

Overall excellent experience living here for the past couple months. Major props to the maintenance crew who respond quickly and always get the job done. We had an issue with our AC today and they came within twenty minutes and spent almost 3 hours, well past their dinnertime to ensure our and our pets comfort. The reception/leasing office is always super helpful and willing to listen and try to solve any issues we have. Parking can be iffy and some people don t clean up after their dogs very well but it s clean, quiet, and the staff is superb. Thanks maintenance crew for a job well done!!!

The BEST maintenance staff ever

Freddie and his staff go over and above to fulfill our needs. After being here almost 2 years, due to ware and tare, they recently replaced caulking around windows and painted window sills. They are always great with our dogs and ask if there is anything else they can help with. Always wave and smile when you see them on the property. They are one of the big reasons we are one of the longest existing tenants here.

Staff are nice and responsive

Staff are nice and responsive and they seem to really care about your experience living here. Apartments are nicely equipped and quiet. You might not always find a parking spot right in front of your building but there are spaces available that aren t too far away. I ve only had 1 maintenance request so far and it was handled promptly in less than 24 hours. So far I m really happy living here.

Beautiful surroundings

So grateful that earlier this week when I was downtown Asheville and the thought crossed my mind, did you remember to turn off the pot of food cooking on the stove top that I could call the front office thank you, Linda and ask if someone could go to my apartment and double-check for me. Freddie kindly came to the apartment and made sure for me. Whew Although, it was indeed turned off, it was a peace of mind for me. I can't say enough about the maintenance team at Ansley. I had a nice experience living here. The staff was friendly from the time I moved in until I moved out. The grounds crew where always curtious and friendly. The aminuties where nice and I had no surprises. I would highly recommend Ansley at Roberts Lake apartments.

Staff are always available to assist

Staff are always available to assist with any problem that arises and are prompt and professional. Parking is a challenge at times but not over the top. There is overflow parking next to the car wash & laundry facility. Maintenance is on top of all reports and are also prompt to respond. The paint on the walls could be upgraded to a type that can be cleaned easily. The flat paint does make it challenging to keep clean particularly in the kitchen area. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience!

We ve lived here since September

We ve lived here since September and to be totally honest it s been a good overall experience. We move a lot for work and it s no better or worse than anywhere we ve been. We wish everyone would follow all of the rules pertaining to dogs and their leashes, but if that s the biggest problem I have, I ll take it.

I like living at Ansley at Roberts Lake

"My apartment is very nice with high ceilings. I do wish we had access to the clubhouse, computers and coffee area after hours. I don't understand why the office area can't be locked and we can't come and enjoy a cup of coffee and sit to read a book or just relax and watch the tv in the evening. Also I would like to see anothe grill set up. One gas grill just isn't enough in the summer. The pool area is lovely It would also be nice if the outside fireplace was set up on a key card with a timer rather than having to sign out a remote for 24 hours to use it. All of these things that I have mentioned are available at The Aventine apartments up the street from us. That being said, I am very happy with all of the improvements on the grounds I believe these will make Ansley a much more beautiful place to live It will be lovely to see green grass this summer Thank you

Enjoy living here

I have enjoyed living here the past couple months, I only hear my neighbors above me occasionally and maintenance is fast to help with our needs. With visitor parking I can park right in front of my building most of the time.

There is a bit of a parking problem, but as far as the apartment and the grounds there isnt much to complain about. We pay extra for our apartment to be above a garage and basically standalone and it gives us the privacy we need. It s also nice that they allow bigger dogs.

Great, quiet grounds, Helpful staff, shopping Rt.26 close

"It is a the best choice from the 7 other apartments we looked at. Only 3 miles to the airport, Arboretum, entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Near the highway, but far enough not to hear traffic. There were some problems with the grounds, and parking, but they worked on that to improve both. We are planning on staying here as long as we can. Lots of extras for active people like free use of mountain bikes, camping equipment, kayaks. The fitness room and pool, extra TVs and computers are available along with a nice room to reserve for special event you may have.

Great property, excellent staff, and beautiful apartment

Excellent choice in a place to live Great amenities and excellent staff. Grounds are well-kept and maintenance is very responsive to any request. Location could not be better - quiet area but still close to the interstate and Biltmore Park. Apartments are well-kept with great floor plans and modern conveniences. I would love to give a rating of all 5s but as others have noted, the parking is an issue. I am only there on weekends but if I don't arrive before 5 00 p.m. on Friday, I never get a parking place in front of my building. I know this is being addressed so hopefully it will improve. It would be great if at least one parking place could be assigned to each apartment to ensure a space was available. Other than the parking issue, could not find a better place

Enjoyable place to live

I enjoy living at Ansley at Roberts Lake. I came from another apartment complex that I did not enjoy and so it's refreshing enjoying where I stay. The only downside is the noise. I have had a horrible time getting the noise to lessen in the middle of the night from the people above me. I understand you will here things living in an apartment building but there's not excuse for the noise being unbearable in the middle of the night. Not much help from the leasing office after one email other then to call the sheriffs office. Otherwise, enjoyable place to live but for the price there is definitely better.

Overall great

While during peak hours parking can be a hassle but the actual apartments are great. The layouts are good and the balconies are nice and spacious I love living here so far. Only downside to the actual living space is the walls are a little thin and you can hear your neighbors talking in certain rooms like the bedroom.

I have to say that when we first came in for the tour

I have to say that when we first came in for the tour, we were impressed and decided to move to the area partly because of this housing option. It s lost some luster due to the low quality material used in the apartment, but we do like the pool area. As a father, one of my major concerns is the waiting area for the school buses in the morning - or lack thereof. We have a choice of standing in wet, soggy grass with the sprinklers soaking us on some days, standing in the driveway during rush hour (!!), or standing next to the highway that is Clayton Rd with a 45 mph speed limit. With so many kids, it seems just a matter of time before an accident happens. I hope that Ansley addresses this soon because it s just going to get worse as winter nears!

Ansley s a great place to live. We lived in one of the cottages for a year. Very convenient! The staff was great and the pool was wonderful. The parking is overcrowded. For the price, we would have expected granite countertops and a better stove but it s a good value. We recommend Ansley.

Nice place to call home

The on-site staff Simon, Persis, Hannah, Freddie Neftali are excellent. They are great neighbors and so very helpful The place is maintained extremely well. Only complaints are barking dogs at times , screaming children at times , and certain neighbors putting trash outside their door during unscheduled times and sometimes for days.

Love living here

We absolutely love our apartment. The style and fixtures are all so beautiful and most neighbors seem extremely friendly. The pool and the gym is some of our favorite places to be. The only downfall is parking. It is beyond difficult for me to park next to the pool almost every night and walk with my baby in one arm and huge baby bag and sometimes groceries in the other. I hope the parking situation gets fixed because it is extremely furastrating to see cars without parking stickers parked near my building.

Great Space and Best Service

The apartments are very open and roomy. The kitchen space is large for an apartment and has lots of counters and storage, a very efficient use of space. The fans in each room keep our ground floor unit cool with very little use of AC. The workout facility is never crowded and has great equipment. All the staff in the office and the maintenance crew are efficient and genuinely friendly. They make you feel that they care and that you are part of a family. Yes, the parking is sometimes a struggle but they are doing their best to resolve this issue.

This is literally the nicest apartment complex ever!

This is literally the nicest apartment complex ever! I have been living here since March 2016. The staff is so friendly! The amenities are amazing. Pool, cabana, grills, club house, gym, laundry facilities, and car wash... and there s still more! All of the residents are also so friendly and I truly feel safe. Moving to Asheville was stressful because there are so many apartment complexes to choose from. Ansley made it an easy choice!
